L2L Project: An innovative online course for young entrepreneurs to develop their business ideas!

The project “Learning to Learn (L2L) entrepreneurship for young people” is close to its completion.

Employability Town has been proud to cooperate for two years with six partner institutions from five EU countries in order to develop innovative learning methodologies to support entrepreneurship among young people!

The project has been financed with the support of the European Commission within the framework of the Erasmus+ Programme and it  was developed in the face of rising youth unemployment across the EU.

We were proud to be part of a fantastic consortium who was confident that enhancing the entrepreneurial spirit and supporting successful entrepreneurial initiatives of young people are indeed among the key means to tackle the economic downturn and increase employment levels – says Klaudia Mitura, MD at Employability Town

Since the beginning of the project in September 2015, partners have been working to create the training programme, define the learning contents to be included in the course and build the online platform.

The result of this two year project is a virtual training course specifically addressing young people who want to learn how to become entrepreneurs.

The course is free and available at this link http://l2l.assist.ro/. It was structured to provide both academic content and practical activities, along with video lessons and testimonials available on the YouTube channel of the project with the aim of creating an outstanding business plan.

Up to date the L2L training course has been tested by over 300 young aspiring entrepreneurs.

The feedback from young people was more than positive and showed that the course had a significant impact on participants’ understanding of entrepreneurship. Young people rated the course as “useful” or “very useful” and as “interesting” or “very interesting”. Specifically, young people said:

I can start to see how the things mentioned are important when thinking of business objectives and the direction of a business.

The course was very informative and interactive; it wasn’t just a list of words on a page!

The course is very useful for people who are looking to start their business but need guidance.

The course provided me with a lot of interesting info about how to proceed in my entrepreneurial path.
