ERASMUS FOR YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS IS THE EUROPEAN EXCHANGE PROGRAMME FOR ENTREPRENEURS ACROSS EUROPE.
Employability Town is proud to be delivering the program for 1.5 years and so far provided 23 entrepreneurs with the chance to establish cross-border collaboration.
Enterprise is a crucial engine of economic growth and a solution to many social problems. At Employability Town we firmly believe that without entrepreneurs starting their ventures and experienced small businesses impacting economy every day, there would be little innovation, productivity, growth, and few new jobs.
That is why Employability Town is proud to be delivering the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs for 1.5 years giving aspiring entrepreneurs and experienced small businesses the chance to establish cross-border collaboration.
We are delighted to show in our impact report the entrepreneurial spark generated across Europe! It is an absolute pleasure to watch aspiring entrepreneurs to grow their business skills and confidence whilst SMEs continuing to stretch their business beyond UK borders.
Entrepreneurial success does not take place in a vacuum and the program creates an entrepreneurship ecosystem that allows both startups and experienced SMEs to thrive together. We are proud to be part of their journey- said the EYE team @ EmployabilityTown
Our Impact Report 2016/2017
Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs is an EU-funded, innovative cross-border exchange that targets two types of entrepreneurs:
- New entrepreneurs, firmly planning to set up their own business or have already started within the last three years. The program allows new entrepreneurs aged 18 plus to undertake a placement abroad for the duration of 1 to 6 months to acquire the skills needed to run a small business as well as test their ideas in practice within the industry.
- Experienced entrepreneurs who own or manage a Small or Medium-Sized Enterprise in one of the Participating Countries for more than 3 years. For business owners it is an opportunity to host within their business new entrepreneurs and therefore to share gained entrepreneurial experience, develop innovative products and services, access new skills and talent, and improve the growth of the company by establishing a partnership in other European markets and finally to increase visibility and prestige of the company through EU press coverage.
Please note that the program does not only apply to young people. “Young” in the context of this program refers to people who have little or no experience in entrepreneurship rather than to their age.
