Employability Town is a speaker at the biggest Student Enterprise Conference in Europe

NACUE’s Student Enterprise Conference is back for its eighth year, bursting with inspiring talks, practical workshops and networking opportunities for students interested in enterprise.

Employability Town will be joining the conference to provide an interactive workshop on “Pitching Skills to Employers.”

NACUE is the UK’s leading membership organisation for engaging students in enterprise.

NACUE’s Student Enterprise Conference is the biggest in Europe, connecting students from colleges and universities across the UK.

Bursting with inspiring talks, practical workshops and networking opportunities, the SEC is all about powering the next generation of entrepreneurs.

This year’s attendees can expect a lineup full to the brim with talks plus experiences, to educate students and graduates on everything they wanted to know about enterprise. This includes:

  • Inspirational keynote speakers from key players in the industry
  • Exciting talks and product demos examining trends for the future
  • Startups and lots of them! A wealth of small businesses will appear on panels to discuss their startup journeys and take part in networking sessions with attendees

Employability Town is excited to be part of the excellent line up and will be delivering “Pitching Skills to Employers” – an interactive workshop during which students will:

  • Identify their strengths
  • Explore methods of effective presentations
  • Prepare their “skill pitch”
  • Practice their pitch during networking simulation

Enterprise skills are vital for getting a dream job, successfully sustaining employment or starting your own venture says Klaudia Mitura – Founder and Managing Director at Employability Town.

We are therefore delighted to support NACUEs conference by contributing to their line up.

Since we never get a second chance to generate a good first impression, especially when it comes to presenting our skills to employers, our interactive workshop aims at equipping students with methods of pitching their skills to employers and relevant stakeholders in an impressive way.

This year’s Student Enterprise Conference will be hosted at the University of Lincoln on the 11th and 12th March 2017.
